Tribe Porty is a community coworking and creative events space based in Edinburgh. We are a collection of social entrepreneurs, freelancers, charities, SMEs and enterprises. From photographers to translators, graphic designers to environmental consultants, we have over 100 members and provide office, studios, permanent desk and hot desking.

Portobello is my local community and the business plan for Tribe was written based on a local community survey. People wanted a place to work, do activities for the health and wellbeing and a place to be creative for all ages. Every development and partnership has had the original voice of the people who answered the survey.

Tribe is big on building community and believes that a nurturing environment which sparks creativity and collaboration is good for business, individuals and communities. We run over 26 different classes and workshops a week from mum and baby fit classes, creative writing, Action for Happiness, Life Circle, Pilates and much more. At Tribe, you will also find a strong community of female run enterprises through our partner, Tribe Women. Tribe Women is an off line and online community of enterprising women looking to reimagine their working lives. This is done through collective wisdom, personal development and professional support. We are also home to other SEs and businesses for good including; The Edinburgh Tool Library, Velow Bikeworks, Portobello Natural Health, Sodak, The Pilates Studio Edinburgh, Oi Musica, CreativeEnergie and more. Tribe Porty is proudly a social enterprise.
