The Listening Post is a community interest company, a non-profit building a better community for all with no exclusions, at the core we are a one to one counselling service that offer low rate fees for low income or free sessions where funding has been secured. Our clients bring a wide range of problems from abuse, addiction, depression and more.
we also run training courses run by a highly qualified teacher/counsellor Ri Punt MBACP. The courses are aimed at both counsellors and the general public.

K.I.T.E (Kids In Together Empower) club is for youngsters of school ages and its aim is to help the children to recognise and cope with their emotions and building a better mental health well-being for their future.

We are just securing new premises to start a training and community well-being hub where other organisations can also book time to offer the community more. And where we can continue to offer more of our specialist services and training.

The Listening Post is run by Alison Cunningham MBACP the funder with 2 paid staff members alongside 20 volunteer student counsellors and 14 volunteer receptionists.
